Household Junk - Silvertone Radio/Kentucky Club Tin

Van Livin' Man: That radio is $30.
Me: Ok
Van Livin' Man: Take it up to the shed there and plug it in. You'll hear the most beautiful bass you ever heard.
Me: 20 Bucks?
Van Livin' Man: Aw man, you're killin' me. I paid that for it. $25 is the best I can do.
Me: 23 and you throw in this tin.
Van Livin' Man: No way man, you're killin me.
Me: ...
Van Livin' Man: Aight, let's do it. Give me the money.

I got it home and it works but I didn't hear this beautiful bass.
